My duties as an Automation Engineer were mostly focused on automating the regression
tests using Cypress. The regression tests were run bi-weekly, and by the end of my
internship, my efforts had already saved the dev team over 5 hours every
time they were run. I became very familiar with the Agile SCRUM framework and learned
how to effectively and efficiently convey any problems I was running into and help
solve other people’s technological or physical. I also was able to learn to use
Jira productively to help my team thrive.

As a Team member, my primary focus is improving the quality of the guest’s experience.
My responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting guests in locating items, and
maintaining a clean store environment. To stock shelves effectively,
I had to memorize the locations of many items. This is reinforced whenever a
guest asks where something is, allowing me to recall the location quickly.
I also frequently collaborate with other team members and am the head of the
stationary department. On several occasions, I have been entrusted to train a new
hire due to my work ethic and my strong communication skills.

Summer IT Intern
Saratoga Springs City School District
June-August 2021
During this internship, I had to prepare the middle school for the new school year.
The school was making the switch to be entirely laptop-based.
I was tasked with removing the desktops and installing laptop docking stations
in over 200 classrooms and 6 computer labs. I also imaged and set up over 1500
laptops, often working on over 80 at a time. I salvaged usable parts from over
200 laptops that were too old or damaged to be used the following year. At the
end of my internship, I organized the laptops by the name of the student to
effectively distribute them to every student.
